1930 Jonesporter
1930 Jonesporter

This 31-foot Jonesporter was designed and built in 1930 by Will Frost in Jonesport, Maine. She was recently purchased by Ken and Melissa Guinness of St. Michaels , who have contracted me to restore her. They have created an online photo album of her throughout the years which you can view by clicking the link above this image.

1952 Navy Utility Boat

1952 26' Navy Utility Boat
1952 26' Navy Utility Boat

This wooden Navy utility boat was built in the Norfolk Virginia Naval Shipyard in 1952 and used to carry men on supply maneuvers from ship to ship. She is very heavily built from cedar and mahogany and carries a 135-hp Lehman Ford diesel engine. We are still waiting for her former owner to give us the rest of the historical details and we will post them as soon as they arrive. Meanwhile, take a look at the photo album to see her before she is restored.

1965 Ventnor
1965 Ventnor

Some of you may remember this boat from theAntique & Classic Boat Festival at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in June 2002.The 1965 Ventnor is in need of very little repair, most of which is cosmetic. She still has her original Chrysler slant 6 engine which, after getting a new oil pan, will only need minor work. Keep watching for more on this project, as we plan to launch her this summer.

Six-metre "Lark" Photo Album

1929 six-metre "Lark"
1929 six-metre "Lark"

"Lark" is our 1929 6-metre, built at Abo Boatyard in Sweden. She has been patiently awaiting restoration and has recently been transported to the shop. She looks very sound on the exterior keeps her bilge dry despite suffering from many cracked frames and a rotten keel and sternpost. Oscar has sailed her in the Chesapeake and is impressed at her speed, so we plan on racing her a bit before considering selling her. For those of you interested in more information on the 6-metre class, click here or visit my links page.
