"Tarry Not" was originally built in 1974 by John Swain on Maryland's Eastern Shore. She was laid
up in a marina on Tilghman Island for many years until being purchased by Jay and Janet Hawley, who were looking for
a classic wooden boat to restore and sail on the Chesapeake.
